About Me

I’m Paige, a Chicago native with an unstoppable passion for art and design. My first five years were spent under the wise tutelage of two pugs in a house that could easily double as an art gallery. One of my favorite home videos features me, a paintbrush in hand before I could even talk, drawing my beloved pug, Phil. Growing up in a family that nurtured my artistic passion from such a young age is something I am very grateful for.

Fast forward to Iowa State University, where I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Industrial Design. There, I learned everything from market research and CAD software to manufacturing methods and user-centered design. I also had a blast as the Photography Director for Trend Magazine, a fashion publication, and Iowa State's largest student-run organization, capturing amazing shots and meeting fantastic people. In my senior year at Iowa State I was given a grant by the school to design and manufacture my own acrylic coffee table which I absolutely loved doing!

Since graduation, I've been lighting up the design world—literally. My professional journey started at Startek Lighting America, where I specialized in design marketing using SolidWorks, KeyShot, Adobe Creative Suite, and Blender. Now, I bring my creative flair to Custom Plastics as their head designer, adding a fresh twist to everything I touch.

When I’m not immersed in design, you’ll find me obsessing over dogs. Seriously, I’m absolutely obsessed! In my dream world, I’d combine my love for dogs, art, and design to create fabulous products for our furry friends, designed with the same care and attention to detail as for humans.

So, that’s me—an art-loving, dog-obsessed designer with a knack for making life vibrant and exciting through art and design. Let’s create something cool together!
